Our concept is ‘hidden beauty’, an aesthetic or sense that is familiar within the Japanese culture and lifestyle. In opposition to the radiant sunbeams, we deliver mysterious beauty; like the moon or the shadows. We are not the rich sounds of a full blown orchestra, but the minimalistic rhythms of the mechanical sounds. Our eau de parfum adapts to this concept. Rather than a fragrance that is instantly captivating, it is gradual; as delicate as a sharpened bland, and as fragile as a taut thread.

SMOKE FLOWER EAU DE PARFUM is intellect concealed in seductiveness:

Top: Baie rose, cardamom, ukon, clove, tobacco
Middle: Incense, lily of the valley, kanzo
Last: Amber, oud/jinko, cashmere wood
Base: Hidden Japonism 834

It was inspired by Takaodayu, a courtesan known as the ultimate “woman of pleasure”: a cigarette in her hand, wearing flowers of the most brilliant colors, she was fully versed in the arts of tea ceremony and flower arrangement. With her lustrous “seductiveness” and smooth “intellect”, she captivated the most powerful and highest class of men of her time.
