PLASTICPeople create materials made entirely from up-cycled plastic waste. Their process is unique and there are countless applications for the materials. After creating their brand and visual identity, I went to work creating an inaugural product that could get their collection of material samples, into the hands of architects, designers, engineers, and builders.
The box that houses the material samples serves as a sample itself. The walls are made from different up cycled plastic materials. All of the information on the outer box is etched into the material using a CNC machine. This shows more potential for the materials while keeping the material usage pure.
The waste dust created by engraving the graphics is collected up-cycled again to make more materials.
