Packaging for Japanese SHIKI-YU from natural cosmetic brand, HOUSE OF ROSE. In Japan, since ancient times, people have enjoyed seasonal hot springs using seasonal ingredients in their baths. Japanese SHIKI-YU is a series where you can enjoy a bath with plant extracts and fragrances limited to the production area that matches the image of each month out of the whole year.
Using illustrations from multi-color woodblock print technique that has been around since the Edo period; the packaging expresses warmth, familiarity and tradition. In addition, using seasonal ingredients as motifs, the design evokes a sense of enjoyment of being able to immerse in baths all year round.
