Akihiro Nishizawa
Born in Shiga Prefecture in 1976. Representative of Eight Branding Design Co. Based on the concept of "energizing Japan through branding design," he has been involved in a wide range of design activities, including corporate brand development, product development, and store development. Using a unique design development method called "Focus RPCD®," he has created a number of consistent branding designs that include research, planning, and concept development.
His major works include craft beer "COEDO", cafe "nana's green tea", Yamasa Soy Sauce "Sendo Seikatsu" and "Marusei Ponzu", skincare "Yuskin", agricultural machinery manufacturer "OREC", hand-woven carpet "Yamagata Dantsu", drugstore "Satudora", Sangetsu "WARDROBE sangetsu", specialty coffee "Horiguchi Coffee", cooking utensil store "Kamaasa Shoten", brand purchase "Nanboya", and many others. Shinshu Miso "Hikari Miso", arts and culture facility "Arts Maebashi", Kego Shrine in Hakata, etc. He has received more than 100 awards in Japan and abroad, including the Good Design Award.
He is the author of "ブランディングデザインの教科書" "ブランドをデザインする! (Pai International), "ブランドのはじめかた", "ブランドのそだてかた" (Nikkei BP, co-author), and "アイデアを実現させる建築的思考術" (Nikkei BP). He also gives many lectures and seminars at universities and companies.
